First Annual Wood For Warriors Event

August 26th - September 2nd // Hickory, NC

Labor Day weekend, The Forgotten Stewardship was blessed with the opportunity to work alongside Wood For Warriors cutting, splitting, stacking and delivering firewood. This event was not only a blessing to the eighty-six (86) Veterans they currently serve, but also to everyone putting in the blood, sweat, and tears processing sixty (60) cords of wood. Something about turning sustainably sourced lumber into heat for Veterans warms the soul, especially when surrounded by selfless servants.

We would like to thank our Stewards; Dan and Rachel Eaton, Dylan, Elizabeth, and Michele Nuttle, Lance, Gayla Risley and Family, and Joe Nuttle, Tommy Miller with Operation Rising Sun, S&S Trailers, LogOx, and LMNT.
